Mark Dunn serves as a Trustee for the Sun Valley General Improvement District (SVGID),where he brings over three decades of experience in construction and a strong belief in public accountability. Currently working as a Safety Manager in the construction industry, Mark has spent much of his career creating safe, effective operations and ensuring the well-being of teams and communities alike.

Before transitioning to safety management, Mark worked for 27 years as a heavy equipment operator—developing the kind of reliability, precision, and work ethic that now defines his approach to public service. His long-term commitment to a single company demonstrates loyalty, consistency, and a results-driven mindset. Elected as a Trusteein2024, Mark is committed to transparency, responsiveness, and responsible governance. He prioritizes clean water, safe parks, and reliable sanitation services—cornerstones of quality living in Sun Valley.

He’s also a firm believer in listening to the people, knowing that strong leadership is rooted in community voices and everyday experience. Whether it’s reviewing infrastructure plans, attending public meetings, or working with fellow board members to keep services affordable, Mark leads with integrity and a practical perspective.
