SUN VALLEY GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT is currently accepting applications for our 2024 Seasonal Cashier and Lifeguard positions. Applications will be accepted until all positions have been filled. (2024 Pool Season begins June 14th and ends on August 11th.)
This is a seasonal non-benefited position, starting at $12.00 per hour. Previous cashiering experience preferred, but not required. This position is under the general direction of the Public Works Director and the daily direction of the Aquatics Supervisor, assists in the operation of facilities that require the collection of monies for admissions, programs and concessions within the Sun Valley swimming facility; and performs related work as required.
Sun Valley General Improvement District is accepting applications to fill our lifeguard positions for the upcoming 2024 season. This is a seasonal non-benefited position, starting at $14.00 per hour (DOE and current certifications). Previous lifeguard experience and certification are preferred, but not required. An American Red Cross Lifeguard Training course will be held for those who are interested but not yet certified. This is the entry level position under the general direction of the Public Works Director and the daily direction of the Aquatics Supervisor, enforces water safety regulations and oversees swimmers at swimming facility, promoting patron health, enjoyment and safety.
