PARKS – SMOKE & VAPE FREE
District Board of Trustees adopted a Smoke Free/Vape Free Policy in all District parks in coordination with Washoe County, City of Reno and City of Sparks. This policy was driven by more health concerns about second-hand smoke as well as cigarette butts posing a significant and difficult cleanup challenge. Signs will be installed this summer around all the parks.
During wildfire season, it is important to be mindful of being “Lean, Clean, and Green.” Clearing an area of at least 30 feet immediately surrounding your home is critical. You can contact TMFPD at 775.325.6000 or email, firstname.lastname@example.org.
